Professors Lu\u00eds Guerreiro and Ros\u00e1rio Partid\u00e1rio, from the Department of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Environment (DECivil) of Instituto Superior T\u00e9cnico, were honoured by the Portuguese Order of Engineers at a ceremony held as part of the National Engineer\u2019s Day celebrations in Porto.<\/p>\n\n
Professor Lu\u00eds Guerreiro was awarded the title of Counsellor Member of the Portuguese Order of Engineers, one of the highest distinctions conferred by the institution. This honour recognises professional excellence, dedication, and a significant contribution to the development of engineering in Portugal. It is reserved for engineers with a well-established career, extensive professional experience, and a relevant impact in their field of specialisation. <\/p>\n\n
With more than two decades of academic and professional activity, Professor Lu\u00eds Guerreiro has played a key role in advancing knowledge and in the education of new generations of civil engineers at T\u00e9cnico. Professor Ros\u00e1rio Partid\u00e1rio was also honoured at the ceremony with the Specialties Award in the field of Environmental Engineering.<\/p>\n\n
