We are pleased to announce that Rui M.L. Ferreira, a researcher at CERIS, has been selected by the Awards Committee of the Environmental and Water Resources Institute (EWRI) to receive the Award for Best Associate Editor in the Journal of Hydraulic Engineering (2020–2024).
The award was formally presented during the 2025 World Environmental and Water Resources Congress, held in Anchorage, Alaska, from May 18 to 21, 2025.
The Journal of Hydraulic Engineering, established in 1956, is recognised as a leading publication in hydraulics and water resources. This distinction highlights Rui M.L. Ferreira’s outstanding commitment to editorial excellence and scientific advancement.
